Getting Started

When I decided to start getting serious about getting back to being healthy, I decided to keep a journal of my journey. It is now into it's 3rd journal! These are journals that I re-visit often. I write down a variety of tips and tidbits that have helped to inspire me to continue on my path. When I started this first journal (pictured below), I included everything in it-recipes, exercise information, valuable tidbits of inspiring words, etc. Since it's conception, I have divided this information between 3 distinct journals so that I could be focused on what I needed at the moment. Whether it is a new exercise I want to try, a new recipe or just some general inspiration for those days when nothing seems to motivate me. After spending a few months gathering all of these tips and tidbits together for myself, I thought all this information might be interesting to others as well.

(Disclosure-I have gathered a variety of information from a variety of sources and I still continue to hunt for other interesting websites, food networks, magazines, TV programs, cookbooks, etc. Everything I have added in my journals come from these sources and while they are copyrighted and meant for me, I will share them with you under a Fair-Use license. I will write the information in my own words, but please be aware-I did not conduct any testing, surveys, test any recipes, do all the workouts, etc. I am merely passing on the information I have gathered.)
